The Nutrition component allows us to track your child’s growth and to ensure that the meals your children receive are in compliance with the USDA guidelines. Tracking children’s growth is important as we can see if there are any concerns such as overweight, underweight or borderline obesity. We can also check to make sure your child is in the percentile of growth that they need to be in for his or her age or if they are considered above or below their growth percentile. For meals children get a diverse menu of meals. They eat various fruits and vegetables as well as breads and meats. Children receive traditional meals to their culture as well as meals they may have never eaten before in their homes. However, it helps us expand their acquired tastes as well as their eating habits.
