The Disabilities component is the component where we identify any children with needs, such as speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, hearing loss, vision loss, developmental delays, etc. that can utilize one-on-one assistance with therapists that provide those services. We are required to have 10% of our enrollment available to children with disabilities. When children are identified early and they receive necessary services this helps us to assist them in being prosperous in the classroom, at home and in the future. A lot of children who are recognized early and start receiving services immediately usually will only require services for a limited amount of time. It is important to us though that you learn and recognize when your child truly no longer needs the assistance.
